Stop 3: Thunder Chief (inside Lavaca on South Lamar)
Head down South Lamar for $1 Wing Wednesday, paired with a new-release wing sauce. Thunder Chief calls itself a scratch kitchen using local, seasonal ingredients, and its weekday 4 to 6pm happy hour adds $4 wagyu sliders, $4 hot dogs and two crunchy tacos for $5.
